The best resolved dispute is one where the parties to that dispute enter into a negotiated mutually acceptable agreement and thus have direct input and control over the outcome. The parties write the end to the story with settlement terms that are agreed to by all, thereby eliminating having to subject themselves to the risks of letting someone else control the outcome of the dispute.
My philosophy on the value of the Alternative Dispute Resolution
Full-day Mediation Fees:
Full-day Mediation: $6,000
Additional billing for extensive preparation, additional mediation time or follow-up will be submitted when appropriate at the rate of $600 per hour.
Multi-party matters (three parties or more) are charged a multi-party rate depending on the number of parties. Please note that a full day mediation consists of two (2) hours of preparation and an eight (8) hour mediation session.
Half-day Mediation Fees:
Half-day Mediation: $3,500
Additional billing for extensive preparation, additional mediation time or follow-up will be submitted when appropriate at the rate of $600 per hour.

Fee Cancellation Policy:
The entire mediation fee may be charged if the mediation is cancelled for any reason within 30 days of the scheduled mediation date. The parties and their counsel acknowledge that they are jointly and severally liable for all fees assessed in the mediation process.

Arbitration Fee:
A daily rate of $6,000 will be charged for each anticipated day of hearing. That rate includes up to eight (8) hours of hearing time on each scheduled day and up to two (2) hours of reading and research time per day. Other professional time, including conference calls or in-person conferences, pre and post session reading and research, extended hearing time, and award preparation will be billed at the current hourly rate of $600 per hour.
Non-Refundable Arbitration Case Management Fee (includes Conflict Check and Code of Civil Procedure Section 1281.9 Disclosure): $600 per party
Arbitration Cancellation Policy:
The entire arbitration fee may be charged if the arbitration is cancelled for any reason within 30 days of the scheduled hearing date. Those parties and counsel who cancel the arbitration will be jointly responsible for the entire fee. For multi-day Arbitrations, the entire arbitration fee may be charged if the arbitration is cancelled for any reason within 45 days of the first scheduled date of the arbitration hearing.
